Kohn's WE Global Learning Centre Winner of Heritage Toronto Award

Kohn Partnership Architects is proud to share that our project, the WE Global Learning Centre located in Toronto's Historical Corktown District, won the Heritage Toronto award for Architectural Conservation and Craftsmanship. This building has been recognized for its exemplary adaptive reuse of the Chicago School-style building, originally designed by Toronto architect Henry Simpson. The building was carefully restored to its original brick, wood, and stone façade, and now houses a state-of-the-art community space that offers learning spaces for youth.

Stephanie van Es and Harry Kohn received the award alongside the owner, Jeff McLeod of WE and the rest of the design team, Philip Goldsmith Heritage Architect and TriAxis Construction Ltd.
