Yonge and Eglinton Food Court

Several design objectives mandated the redesigning of this food court located in the sub-lower level of the Yonge & Eglinton Mall that included simplifying and improving the overall appearance of the space, and specifically to create a pleasant environment for eating, defined tenant storefronts, and clarifying the circulation system. In addition to adding a skylight at the main entrance, subtle lighting treatments, fritted glass, and contemporary materials brightened the eating area while varied floor tile provided a defined path for traffic passing through.
