Kohn Partnership Architects Inc. is proud to announce the following promotions to leadership positions in the firm: Katie Kuzan and Paul Tang to Senior Associate, and Andrea Nagy and Margaret Shang to Associate. These four members of our team have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to our firm’s work, and their commitment to a high level of service to our clients.
Katie Kuzan joined the firm in 2012, proving herself an integral project team member on many of Kohn Partnership’s most significant projects. In the studio, Katie is invaluable as Manager of our BIM/Revit resources and mentor to our staff. Outside of the office, Katie is frequently invited as a guest critic to both the University of Waterloo Architecture Program and the Ontario College of Art and Design University. Katie’s unprecedented level of client service and project delivery have made her instrumental in the firm.
Paul Tang joined Kohn Partnership Architects in 2011. With over 20 years of industry experience, Paul has handled most of the firms’ contract administration, acting as primary liaison and communicator with contractors during the construction stages of our projects. Paul’s knowledge of building science technologies and high standard for quality control has earned him a strong reputation among trades and consultants. Paul is currently the Project Manager for the Remington Centre project in Markham – a 1,000,000sf shopping mall starting construction in early 2018.
A licensed architect, Andrea Nagy joined Kohn Partnership Architects in November of 2015 - bringing experience in mixed-use, residential, commercial, transit, institutional, and hospitality projects. By understanding the importance of establishing and maintaining quality and long-lasting relationships with clients, contractors, and other consultants in the industry, Andrea has cultivated a thoughtful and detail-oriented design approach that aims to ensure project goals are routinely met and exceeded.
Margaret Shang joined Kohn Partnership Architects in 2011 with a degree in both Architecture and Urban Planning. This background has provided Margaret with an added advantage in development-based projects which enables her to successfully navigate through complicated development issues. Margaret takes the lead on the majority of the firms’ stacked townhome developments and has become a resource for this specific building type within the office, in addition to her experience in dealing with unique and difficult urban infill sites.
